Who we are

We’re a small town family of five doing our best to live slowly, sustainably, & with intention. Cloth diapering has been part of our home for more than five years, woven into the rhythms of our daily life.

My passion for the cloth diaper community grew from a desire to help families save money, succeed in their diapering journey, & feel supported rather than overwhelmed. Arcadia’s Nursery grew from that same spirit... a space built for parents, caregivers, & little ones who deserve better than disposable culture.

We create products that we feel honor the earth, support the families who use them, & elevate your diapering experience. Cloth diapers can be functional, beautiful, & made with purpose. They can reflect your values while serving your child with comfort & care.

Our Story

Arcadia’s Nursery began as a spark of rebellion... founded by Jennie, who wanted cloth diapers that actually worked and also felt aligned with the aesthetic she loved. Other brands weren’t offering witchy designs; they weren’t prioritizing leak resistance, and they weren’t speaking to witchy/alt families. Jennie set out to change that. She curated prints rooted in darkness, nature, moons, magic, and mystery(and prints that are palatable to mainstream parents too), paired with details that helped prevent leaks and blowouts.

Those early days shaped the energy of Arcadia’s Nursery... bold, intentional, and beautifully different.

I (Kristin) joined first as a community member and rep, drawn in by the transparency, inclusive values, and authentic vibes. Supporting families and helping them find a cloth diaper that performs well has always been important to me, and Jennie’s mission aligned deeply with what I believe parents deserve.

In time, I stepped into ownership. What has never changed is our heartbeat... A commitment to high performance that support caregivers, not overwhelm them. A commitment to inclusivity. And a commitment to prints that embrace magic, earthiness, darkness, and depth... not just pastels and trends.

Families deserve honest, accessible information about cloth diapers. Too many parents are met with myths, confusion, or fearmongering that makes cloth diapering feel unrealistic or overwhelming. We believe every family should have the chance to make an informed choice... without misinformation getting in the way.

We noticed that many brands stick to a very specific, "traditional" or juvenile aesthetic, often leaving out families who lean toward the unique.

At Arcadia’s Nursery, we proudly cater to the witchy parents, the alt and goth families, and the lovers of all things spooky. We cater to the rebel. Our curated collection bridges the gap between the unconventional and the classic, offering edgy, alternative prints alongside timeless solids. Whether your home is filled with crystals and moonlight or minimalist modern decor, we provide high performance cloth diapering solutions that feel like a natural extension of your family’s unique vibe.

HOW WE OPERATE

As a woman-owned & operated business, transparency is at the heart of everything we do. From curate to create, every aspect of Arcadia’s Nursery; including all operations & order fulfillment, is carried out personally by me. We run on an in-stock model, meaning we don’t do long pre-orders. if it’s on our site, it’s ready to ship to your door.

We believe that how a product is made matters just as much as how it functions. We do our best to source all artwork ethically, ensuring artists are respected & fairly compensated. Our manufacturing process is a blend of scale & soul, depending on the product, your items are either produced in a SMETA audited facility to ensure ethical labor standards or handcrafted by a work from home mom. This hybrid approach allows us to provide high quality, reliable products while supporting both global ethical standards & the local maker community.
