How to Choose Your Fit
Arcadia's Nursery Pocket
Our signature pocket diaper is designed for the long haul. With a wide weight range of approximately 8–50+ lbs, it's the ideal choice for families who want one diaper that truly does it all. Adjustable rise snaps let you customize the fit as your baby grows, and the generous pocket opening makes stuffing and customizing absorbency effortless.
Choose this if: You're building a stash from birth and want maximum longevity from each diaper. OR if you want the benefits of the blowout & leak prevention of the back panel.
Wickham Wild Fawn Fit
The Fawn Fit is crafted for smaller babies and slimmer frames, fitting approximately 8–40 lbs. Its tailored cut sits closer to the body for a trim profile under clothing — perfect for the early months when a bulky diaper can feel overwhelming on a tiny baby.
Choose this if: Your baby is on the smaller side, you prefer a trim fit, or you're diapering a younger infant and plan to use EC or coach toilet learning earlier.
Wickham Wild Yearling Fit
The Yearling Fit is made for babies who have grown into their stride — fitting approximately 13–50 lbs. With a roomier rise and a fuller seat, it accommodates the chunky thighs and active wiggles of older babies and toddlers without sacrificing containment.
Choose this if: Your baby is heavier, taller, or has outgrown the Fawn Fit's proportions.
Getting the Perfect Fit
- Leg elastics should be snug but not leave angry red marks.
- The waist should lie flat against your baby's tummy with no gaps.
- Rise snaps control the diaper's length. Start with the rise snapped down for newborns and open it up as your baby grows.
- Absorbency can be layered, add a cloth wipe, or use a doubler or tripler insert for heavy wetters or overnight use.
Still Not Sure?
Weight ranges are a starting point, not a rule. Fit depends on your baby's unique proportions... some babies are long and lean, others are short and round. When in doubt, size up for the rise and adjust the waist snaps for a custom fit.
